Bell Green is predominantly a residential area of in the north of Coventry, West Midlands, England. It is a relatively deprived area with high levels of crime and unemployment, and the housing in the area is mostly former council houses and flats now owned by the social landlord Whitefriars Housing Group. Courthouse Green is to the southeast.
Bell Green has a shopping centre called Riley Square, which has a variety of shops surrounded by flats. There is also a public library on the square. Bell Green health centre is situated just outside Riley Square. there are three chemists , two hairdressers grants and scruples , two bakeries , farmfoods , post - office , a couple of places to get a hot drink and something to eat , a baby nursery pram shop called cherubs , a pound like shop , pet shop , a curtain come wool shop shop. There is a new bus station.
Dewis House, a 17 story block of flats about 51 metres (167 ft) tall, is situated in Riley Square. It was completed in 1965, and contains 94 flats.[1]
